Vila Baleira Funchal, Funchal (Madeira)

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were perfect with a huge balcony and loungers, equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was fine, although the coffee was a bit stewed. The service was top-notch, with friendly staff offering a range of amenities. The location was great with easy access to the city center and surrounded by plenty of dining options. The dining experience was decent, and the facilities were well-maintained.

My stay at the hotel was delightful. The rooms were spacious and offered an excellent view of the ocean, despite some obstruction from the neighboring hotel. The service was top-notch, with friendly staff extending our checkout until we were ready to leave. The location was perfect, just a 20-minute walk from the city center with plenty of local shops and cafes around. While the dining experience was a bit lackluster, the facilities were impressive, especially the FREE underground parking garage.

Despite the initial room mix-up and some subpar aspects, my stay at the hotel was redeemed by its incredible location and dining options. The rooms were average with thin pillows and twin beds but at least clean, and the service was a mixed bag - friendly reception staff but not so much around the rest of the property.
